"I'll take care of this room," said Dan as he pushed open the squeaky door and
flipped on the light switch. His sisters and mother were upstairs packing the last of
his grandmother's belongings from the old house she had lived in for 60 years. He
had come home to help his family empty the house so they could try to sell it. Being
back in the house filled his mind with memories of long ago.
In one corner of the room was a shelf lined with trophies and awards. His
grandmother was an amazing bowler. Dan was never a big sports fan, but he
didn't dislike watching his grandmother bowl. She was always preparing for the big
