解説ではこのwhatever it is〜 は強調構文であり、it,is,thatを外すと、you have decided whatever is necessary to justify your existenceとなるとあったので、自分は"あなたの存在を正当化するのに必要なものはなんでも決めてきた"と訳したのですが、模範解答では、"あなたの存在を正当化するのに必要だと自分が決めたことが何であろうと"となっておりwhateverがかかる場所が違いました。なぜ模範解答のように訳せるのでしょうか。
