There are many kinds of insects in the world. All insects
have six legs, but they can be very different. Two insects,
which you can see everywhere, are ants and bees.
Ants live in nests. Thousands of ants live together. Bees
also live together, but they live in hives. Both ants and bees
have a queen. The hard working queen lays many eggs.
Ants and bees work very hard to find food and build their
homes. But be careful because when they get angry, they
can hurt you.

Ants and bees are also different in many ways. Ants are
usually smaller than bees and they are brown or black in
color. However, bees are yellow and black. Bees can fly and
eat from flowers. This food, which becomes honey, is
delicious. On the other hand, ants often walk a long way to
find food. Some birds and animals like to eat ants.
As you can see, ants and bees are both very interesting no
insects. They are the same and different in many ways.

There are many pests, these range from insects that terrorize farms to mosquitoes that suck human blood. Out of all that there are two that are most known. The fly and the mosquito, at first glance they may seem like the same, but the difference between them is huge.
Flys and mosquitoes both have wings, they also both are hatted by many people. Both are carriers of diseases.
However the similarities end there, flys are harder to kill because they have multiple eyes, and are capable of seeing things from multiple angles. The goal of flys is to eat and find warm surfaces to lay eggs. Mosquitoes are different, they lay there eggs in bodies of water. Some bodies of water as small as a flower can be a hatching place for mosquitoes. The mosquitoes start out first as larva and live in water. However when they finally mature fully, they are capable of flying. Contrary to common belief, not all mosquitoes suck blood, only the females suck blood. The males satisfy themselves to the nectar of flowers. The females need protein to lay eggs so they suck blood.
So in conclusion, flys and mosquitoes are two different insects. They may sound the same but they are very different.
