この問題でof the seaと続く前の文章はにこあると思うのですが、なぜこの答えはof preserving the environment ではなく to
preserve the environment になるのでしょうか??

From my experience, I learned a lot about fishermen's work. Fishermen have a deep knowledge of
the sea. They always do their best to provide delicious fish to people. I also learned that many kinds
of animals live in the sea. We have to preserve the environment of the sea. It is important not only
for animals (4) also for people. I hope many people will learn about fishermen's work and the
importance of preserving the environment of the sea. So I'll write an article about my experience in the
school newspaper next month.
