Did you ever watch the movie, Beyond Beauty: Taiwan from above? It is a movie about
Taiwan. The movie set a new box office record in just 10 days after it hit the theater on
November 1", 2013 in Taiwan. It also won the Best Documentary at the 50" Golden Horse
Awards in the same year. But who made the movie? Chi Po-lin
20. He is a true hero for
many Taiwanese people.
Chi, in fact, didn't have enough money to make the movie. He gave up his job to follow
his dream of recording everything about Taiwan with photos and videos at the age of 47. He
borrowed a lot of money from banks. He even put his life in danger in the air.
