Connective words หรือ Connectors แปลว่า
สันธาน หมายถึง คำที่ใช้เชื่อม (Hords) กลุ่มคำ
(Phrases) หรือประโยค (Sentences) เข้าด้วยกัน
คำที่จะใช้ Connectors สามารถเป็นแบบคล้ายเกมกัน
หรือขัดแย้งกันได้ เช่น
but (แต่) เชื่อมประโยคที่มีความหมายในเชิงขัดแย้งกัน
หรือไม่เป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน
