กายวิภาคศาสตร์ (Anatomy)
เป็นการศึกษาถึงส่วนต่าง ๆ ลักษณะและโครงสร้างร่างกายมนุษย์และสัตว์ รวมถึงตำแหน่ง
ของอวัยวะต่าง ๆ
สรีรวิทยา (Physiology)
เป็นการทำงานของส่วนต่าง ๆ ของร่างกาย เมื่อรวมเข้าด้วยกัน และสิ่งเหล่านั้นต้องทำงาน
ประสานกัน เพื่อให้ร่างกายของเราสามารถดำรงชีวิตอยู่ได้
การจำแนกสาขา
1. Gross anatomy (Macroscopic anatomy) การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับร่างกายที่มองเห็นได้ด้วยตา
เปล่า เช่น โครงสร้างของกะโหลก (Skull),คอ (Cervical),อก (Pectoral)
2. Microscopic anatomy การศึกษาที่เกี่ยวกับร่างกายไม่สามารถมองเห็นด้วยตาเปล่าได้ แบ่งเป็น
3 ส่วน คือ Cytology : about cell
Histology : about tissue
Oranology : about organ
3. Developmental anatomy การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาของตัวอ่อนจนถึงการ
เจริญเติบโตเต็มที่
4. Comparative anatomy การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการเปรีบยเทียบร่างกาย หน้าที่
5. Systematic anatomy การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับระบบต่างๆ
6. Genetic anatomy การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับโครงสร้างทางพันธุกรรม
7. Neuroanatomy การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับระบบประสาท
8. Endocrinology การศึกษาเกี่ยวกับ Hormone
9. Exercise physiology การศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงและการทำงาน
