この文の構造が分かりません。assure that より、これらの講義は出席されてきたって言うのはわかるのですが、
①なぜinなのかわかりません。もしかしたら、attended in these lecturesだからですか？？？

②2個目のthat（私たちがそれらを主催してきた）がなにのthatなのか教えていだけませんでしょうか。
