34. The owner of a light shop bought a crystal light for $x. He set its
marked price 60% above the cost price, and later it was sold to a
customer at a discount of 25%.
(a) Find the profit per cent made by the owner.
(b) If the customer bought the light for $3 780, find the value of x.
