Welcome back to work

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a
great holiday, and welcome back to work
This year, we'll be as crazily busy as
before. For the first quarter, we're going to
make costumes for The Land. I believe most
of you, like me, read the story during the break
because the boss told us to. Then, you should
all know that The Land is a story about kings
and queens of five countries. For any story
like this, soldiers appear quite important in the
North
South
West
Sea People
East
movie though most of the audience seldom notices them. Even so, Bob Shaw, the
director, is going to use a lot of soldiers in the movie, and he said the soldiers in
each country must look very different to let the audience quickly tell which country
they belong to. For that, we have to make over one thousand costumes just for
those soldiers.
So, let's start the work with this simple but biggest part of the movie costumes
as a warm-up. I already have some ideas about the soldiers' beards and hair. Please
take a look at the picture in the e-mail, and feel free to make changes and share with
everyone in our first meeting on Tuesday.
