You may have heard about snow hotels built in winter in
some mountains. But what about a salt hotel? It's one of the most vat
surprising hotels in the world. The salt hotel is a hotel which was
made of salt blocks. It's in Bolivia, South America.
The first salt hotel was built in 1993, and soon it became
a popular place. However, it caused a lot of pollution, so it was closed in 2002. Around
2007, a new salt hotel was built. The new hotel has 15 bedrooms, a dining room, a living
room, and a bar. As its name "salt hotel" tells us, everything there is made of salt. You sit
on the salt chairs, eat on the salt tables, sleep on the salt beds, and enjoy your drinks in the salt
bar. Besides, the roof and walls are also made of salt. During the rainy season, the walls are
strengthened with new salt blocks, so they won't be ruined by the rain. In the hotel, there is
also a special sign which you may not see in other hotels. It says, "Please
do not lick the walls.'
