要如何分辨tense vowels 和lax vowels? 課本上寫兩者的差別是肌肉的鬆緊度，而tense vowels 通常會比lax vowels唸得長，舉例為：/i,ɪ/的辨別，故我剛開始的理解是長母音高機率是tense vowels，短母音高機率是lax vowels。 但剛剛發現/o/和/ɔ/都屬於tense vowels，與我辨別的方式產生的結果不一樣，想請問有人能幫我解惑嗎🥹🙏

大家好，小妹初次使用這個app，因為實在是被報告搞到焦頭爛額，所以望各位學霸行行好給我一點意見ಥ‿ಥ 本人就讀英文系大二，其中一科是語言學概論，報告的主題是phonology中的assimilation。 我們的報告方式是解釋那個詞的意思和你對他的理解再加上一個生活中的運用（不要再舉英文的例子了，怕被老師打槍）。查了好多資料發現關於應用的資料根本是0，本來是想打中文的同化音，例如：難[nan] 免[miɛn]→難免[nam miɛn]，但我發現我不會解釋，因為我自己都感覺不出來自己唸快會變這樣。後來突然想到不知道繞口令跟assimilation有沒有關係？例如：黑化肥發灰會揮發，比如唸很快時「肥」可能唸成「ㄏㄨㄟˊ」，因為被「化」的「ㄏ」影響。 不知道這兩者到底有沒有關係？假如沒有的話，你們會怎麼解釋中文的「難免」？或者有更好的例子可以用？
