我們後句拿出來看：
If I had had a mirror, I would have lent it to you. (這是假設語氣與過去事實相反)
第一個had是助動詞，由於前句已經提到had a mirror,所以可能為避免重複，利用助動詞代替而省略。

加上這邊格子，只給一個，所以他應當是省略了。
