空格前一句提及兩個隱藏神性的方法——埋在地底深處或放在最高的山頂上。得知空格內應置代名詞neither，以表示這兩個方法皆行不通，故(D)選項應為正確。

Any + noun. 的時候何時是否定用法，何時是任何呢？

我今天問我的英文老師，他說「I want any food but chocolate.」翻成「除了巧克力之外，其他（任何）食物我都要。」所以any還是翻成任何的意思，沒有變。
