Dear Leo,
How is everything in Australia? We're good in Taipei. Yesterday was Gina's birthday, so your son
planned a surprise party for his sister.
It was sunny yesterday morning---not a cloud in the sky. First, Gina's friends and I went to the park next
to our house. Then, Eric took Gina there for a walk after breakfast. Gina's friends and I hid behind the
trees, and we jumped out and said "Happy birthday!" to her. It was a big surprise for Gina, and she was
very happy. Then we had lunch under a tree. But heavy rain fell after lunch. We ran to a gazebo and
waited there for two hours. During that time, we ate a big chocolate cake. Kent, Gina's friend from
