Mengenal Suku Badui Badui dalam belum mengenal budaya luar dan terletak di hutan pedalaman. Karena belum mengenal kebudayaan luar, suku Badui dalam masih memiliki budaya yang sangat asli. Mereka memakai pakaian yang bewarna putih dengan ikat kepala putih membawa golok. Pakaian Suku Badui dalam pun tidak berkancing atau kerah Orang Kanekes atau orang Baduy/Badui adalah suatu kelompok masyarakat adat sub-etnis Sunda di Wilayah Kabupaten Lebak, Banten Mereka dikenal sangat taat mempertahankan adat istiadat dan warisan nenek moyangnya. Uniknya, semua yang dipakai Suku Badui dalam adalah hasil produksi mereka sendiri. Biasanya para perempuan yang bertugas membuatnya Masyarakat Suku Badui di Banten termasuk salah satu suku yang menerapkan isolasi dari dunia luar. Suku ini memiliki kepercayaan yang dikenal dengan sunda wiwitan, dengan memuja arwah nenek moyang yang pada selanjutnya kepercayaan mereka berpengaruh dari agama Buddha dan Hindu. Hingga saat ini, suku Badui Dalam tidak mengenal budaya baca tulis, yang mereka tahu, ialah aksara Hanacaraka (aksara sunda). Dengan demikian, banyak cerita atau sejarah mereka hanya diingatan atau cerita lisan saja. Mereka dilarang menggunakan perangkat teknologi, seperti HP dan TV Menurut mereka inilah cara melestarikan adat leluhurnya. Meskipun sejak zaman soeharto sampai sekarang sudah ada upaya membujuk mereka agar mengizinkan pembangunan sekolah, tapi mereka selalu menolak. Mereka dilarang memakai pakaian modern. Selain itu, setiap kali bepergian, mereka tidak memakai kendaraan bahkan tidak memakai alas kaki dan terdiri dari kelompok kecil berjumlah 3-5 orang..
